Juicing Works!
Well, the cholesterol results are in, and can I tell you, I am so ecstatic right now!
In mid November, I explained how I started a new eating pattern in hopes to bring my cholesterol down. I have to say I am extremely happy with the results – they are better than I ever expected them to be, wihoo!
I just got off the phone with my doctor and she told me my number were great and to keep doing whatever it is I’m doing!

Sassy Strawberry Smoothie

Here’s today lunch! It was so good I wanted to share it with you.
Here’s what’s in the the Sassy Strawberry Smoothie:
8 ounces organic unsweetened rice milk
1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
7 organic strawberries
A shot of Zrii
1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
2 Teaspoons organic raw cocao powder
1 Tablespoon organic raw almond butter
Couple ice cubes
Blend away and walah…..you have one delicious smoothie!

Gimme a Beet…..and some kale too!

Went shopping at Whole Foods today and they had so much amazing organic produce! I bought lots of kale, including red kale which has this amazing deep, really dark rich ruby red color. I also bought golden beets – never ate these before but they are just delicious. I saved some kale and beet greens to juice later – (oh and I jumped off the juicing boat – haven’t juiced in over 2 weeks – yikes!)
But I’m back on track and can’t wait to drink my super juice...

Still Juicing…….check this one out!

Hey All……..yes, I’m still juicing…..about 2-3 times a week.
I had to share this concoction with you..……have to admit, it wasn’t one of my favorite tasting ones (think it was possibly because I added too many veggies? not sure) anyway……….
If the way I felt today is from this juice I drank yesterday and today, well then I will be making this concoction lots more!
Or it could be the other concoction I’ve created (not from the juicer)...
