Sassy Strawberry Smoothie
First Listed March 24, 2010
Here’s today lunch! It was so good I wanted to share it with you.
Here’s what’s in the the Sassy Strawberry Smoothie:
8 ounces organic unsweetened rice milk
1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
7 organic strawberries
A shot of Zrii
1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
2 Teaspoons organic raw cocao powder
1 Tablespoon organic raw almond butter
Couple ice cubes
Blend away and walah…..you have one delicious smoothie!
And of course I first let the drink sit for a couple minutes on one of VibesUp (affiliate link) energy-raising food coasters! (The drink is sitting on one in the picture though I know it’s hard to see).
Inhale~Enjoy~Exhale,
Gina

There’s a lot of stuff in this recipe that I don’t have. I’m going to have to go on the hunt to track down everything and hopefully, will be able to give this a try soon. Thanks for sharing it!

Hi Donna Maria,
instead of almond butter) but I find almond butter easier to digest for me. Chia seeds are great to throw in any smoothie and I heard on a telenar, I think it was Dr. Mercola who mentioned it, that chia seeds are a good source of protein. You can skip the Zrii but I do recommend the raw cacoa powder – supposed to be excellent source of magnesium and other great nutrients and supposed to be good for bone health.
You can actually substitute some things for instance peanut butter (I recommend the natural kind
Let me know what you end up blending up!
Enjoy creating!

Hi Gina,
I’m officially addicted to blogging……
Anyway I wanted to tell you that I was introduced to superfoods through David Wolfe and I have been making a slight variation to one of his smoothies since June 2010. Its my breakfast every morning and now my husband has joined in. Measurements are all approximate.
1 banana
2 cups frozen organic blueberries
1 Tbsp organic raw Maca
1 Tbsp organic raw cocoa powder
2 tsp organic raw cocoa nibs
1 tsp ground raw sesame seeds
1 tsp raw pumpkin seeds
1 tsp raw sunflower seeds
1 Tbsp Green Vibrance
Organic Almond Milk (unsweetened)
Coconut water is good too.
I slowly drink about 2 glasses from 8:00am to noon.
Keeps me going and I love it.

I now know there is no coincidence that we met. Lol

I’ve been following David Wolfe for almost 1 1/2 years now and I finally bought his Longevity Now Program and my husband and I started it on January 11…. on my bday
No coincidence, right?!!
