Living to 100

Would you like to live to 100 years old?  I guess I wouldn’t mind it if I were in decent shape, health-wise. 

I was given an article this weekend by someone and it’s called, ‘living healthy to 100.’ It’s a title that intrigued me so I read the entire article.  The simple lifestyle practices that were common to these centenarians that lived in Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula that were described in this article didn’t surprise me too much.  But it did remind me how much your attitude and sense of connection to both family and faith or higher power makes such a big difference.  

The main one that stuck in my mind was having a strong sense of purpose.  In my mind, this is a big one. And to me, it doesn’t mean my purpose as in my job title. Purpose, to me, means what am I here on this earth to do. I personally don’t feel I’m here to have the biggest house or nicest car.  I’m here to experience life in this human form and awaken to who I truly am.   I feel I’m also here to serve others on their journey as well.
