Turn Procrastination into Motivation!

First Listed June 1, 2009

Ever find yourself having a project to do but you just can’t get yourself to start it?

That’s how I was feeling all day today. I did get some other things accomplished, but the one thing that’s been hanging over my head and that really needed to be done – yesterday – is still not done.

Aromatherapy to the rescue once again!!!

I decided to take action and use one of the tools in my arsenal that has helped me time and time again – my amazing essential oils.

I got my diffuser out, filled the top with water and lit the candle. Next I went over to all my essential oils and chose a blend that would help uplift my mood and get me motivated to start the task that has been evading me. Here are 3 of the essential oils I used:

Mandarin, Sweet Orange and Cinnamon

I already feel the difference and was inspired to even write this post :) .

Now I’m off to attend to that other task with calmness, clarity and perseverance.

How has Aromatherapy helped you? Or maybe a better question is how can Aromatherapy serve you?

Leave a comment if you’d like to share. Thanks!

Enjoy!

    Hi Gina,

This really hit home for me as I am a huge procrastinator. I definitely will look into this combination to help keep me motivated and on task.

    Hi Cherie!
    I hear ya!!!
You can also use other essential oils such as rosemary, lemon, grapefruit, basil and peppermint.
And I’d always be happy to create a blend for you. :)

    So glad you stopped by.

That would be great, Gina! My anxiety has been higher than normal too – I would love for you to create a blend or two for me.

    Thanks.

Hi Gina. I’m so happy to find this website that you posted in your facebook. I’m glad that there are people out there with the knowledge of using natural ingredients instead of popping a pill to “cure” whatever their ailments are.

    Hi Bernadette!
Glad you found me too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
Yes, it does take a little longer to ‘cure’ when using natural ingredients, but usually our ‘issues’ don’t happen overnight either.
Thanks again for the kind words.
Welcome and hope to hear from you more.
    Gina :)
