Essential Oils and Laundry…do these two mix?

Absolutely!

Here’s a quick tip for using essential oils in your laundry.

I love to add Tea Tree and Lavender to the water as my washing machine fills up. I use about 4 drops of each to a large load. Sometimes I’ll use one or the other, but if I’m washing sheets, towels or my dog’s bed covers, I definitely make sure to put a few drops of Tea Tree in the wash water. I just feel better knowing I have that extra anti-bacterial power of the essential oils working for me.

I do not use essential oils on clothing that is considered ‘fine washables’,

and

I always add the drops of essential oils to the water as it fills up before adding any laundry.
