Natural Remedy to Deter Pesky Critters

Using Essential Oils – Better for You & Your Environment
Certain times of year, do you ever see an ant or two crawling around your house?
I’ve got one word for you – Peppermint.
I’ve read in several of my aromatherapy books that Peppermint essential oil will deter ants and also mice.
Here’s what you do: get some Peppermint essential oil and put a couple drops, undiluted, near doors and windows. You can also put a couple drops on cotton balls and place them in corners and nooks around the house.
Always be careful not to place them where either your young children or pets can get to them.
You can also make a spray by adding 10 drops of Peppermint EO to 2 ounces of water in a spray bottle, shake well and mist near bottom of doorways and around the room.
