…..and some essential oils to use to create your own uplifting ‘Ahhh’ blend.
Here are a few essential oils that are great for uplifting your mood and going from ‘blah’ to ‘Ahhh':
Basil, Geranium, Lavender, Neroli, Bergamot, Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Spearmint, Rosemary, Lemongrass and most citrus oils including Grapefruit, Sweet orange and Lemon.
Here’s one of my favorite essential oil blend recipes to lift the ‘Spirit':
- Sweet orange 20 drops
- Grapefruit 15 drops
- Lemongrass 8 drops
- Spearmint 8 drops
- Cinnamon Leaf 5 drops
Mix this blend into a colored glass bottle with an orifice reducer (a top that lets one drop out at a time) or a glass dropper top.
Use this blend either in a diffuser or aroma mist. With the diffuser, be sure to follow the instructions that came with your diffuser and for the aroma mist, mix 15 drops total of the blend above into a 1 ounce bottle, add spring water to fill the bottle up, put a sprayer top on, shake well and mist.
