Aromatherapy Feet Treats

First Listed July 16, 2011

It’s been a while since I posted any aromatherapy recipes……….so here are two new ones for you!

Give your feet a special treat with these 2 Feet Treat formulas.

Enjoy!

Simple Foot Scrub

1 3/4 Cups Sea Salts

3/4 Cup Jojoba

Mix the two ingredients together in a jar for a simple foot and body scrub. For more excitement, add up to 20 drops of Lavender essential oil. For something more adventurous, you can make the following recipe. Just blend, mix well and enjoy!

Lemon           9 drops

Lavender       6 drops

Rosemary      5 drops

Simple Foot Massage Oil

Add a total of 9-12 essential oils to a one ounce bottle with a screw top or flip cap. Fill to the top with jojoba, put cap on bottle and gently shake mixture.

For a simple essential oil blend, add 9-12 drops of Lavender essential oil to one ounce of jojoba or other base oil.

For achy, tired feet, use the following essential oil blend:

Lemon        5

Lavender    4

Rosemary   2

To revitalize your feet, add 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil to the above blend – this will add a little pep in your step. :)

** Important Note: Consult your medical practitioner before using any essential oils if you have any medical conditions or concerns or if you are nursing or pregnant.
