A Second Portal to Freedom

Have you tried implementing the first portal to freedom – non-attachment? If you practice non-attachment, even just by noticing what or who you’re attached to, you will feel the benefits, especially when it comes to releasing anxiety.
Today I’m sharing with you the second portal to Freedom.…….Non-judgement. (If you missed the first portal you can find it here: first portal.)
Judging yourself, other people, events or situations means attaching labels to them, naming them as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ (or sad, miserable, happy, unimaginable etc.). And the thing is, we tend to automatically judge, without even realizing we are doing this. When we are not aware of the thoughts that we think, especially the thoughts that take the form of judgment and stories, we tend to believe them and then identify our SELF with them.
When you attach these labels, you tend to believe them. But if you begin to increase your awareness of your thoughts, then you can catch yourself when you judge or label. When you catch yourself, then you will not identify with these labels and judgments….you will see them exactly as they are……just thoughts and stories.
