4 Tips to Create a Healing, Cleansing, Blissful Soak

Taking a bath can be very healing to both your mind and your body. There’s something magical about having your body totally immersed in warm water. It’s soothing to your skin and muscles and calming to your senses.
Here’s 4 tips to turn your bath into a healing, detoxifying and relaxing sacred soak.
1. Add Dead Sea salts – Dead Sea salts detoxify the body and soothe sore, tired muscles.
2. Add essential oils – Add 5-7 drops of calming essential oils such as Lavender and Geranium to calm your mind and turn your bath into a sensory experience.
3. Put crystals in the corners of your bathtub. Crystals add healing energy to your bathing experience. Even if you only have one crystal, then put one in the corner. Quartz crystals are great to use but use whatever crystals you feel drawn to.
4. Put on some calming music – I use the Pandora App on my iPhone. I put on a New Age station and I am in total bliss!
I used to take baths regularly, but then got out of the habit. Recently, some of my muscles and joints have been aching. I was talking to Goddess Leonie and she reminded me how healing water is and to try to take a bath. It felt so good and I couldn’t believe I forgot about this totally soothing, simple and healing ritual.
So start by taking 20 minutes out once a week and enjoy a blissful soak.
