Me Time
Posted on June 29, 2008 In personal growth
Lately I’ve been having some restless nights thus not sleeping as well. I’ve been a little draggy during the day, having a hard time starting projects and then, of course the body comes into play and throws my digestion off. So, I sat down one day and realized that I’ve been slacking in the ‘me time’, big time. I was slacking in the ‘take care of me’ rituals I usually do and thus my body and mind was rebelling. So I decided that I am the only one responsible...

Are you carrying around your past?
I did -and still do sometimes- it’s a work in progress. But it can be a bit destructive to the quality of your life if you are constantly thinking about, and therefore living in, your past. It becomes a heavy burden, carrying around some memories which still stir up emotions in the present moment. Such emotions can be guilt, resentment, fear, grief or anger. Another Visual SENSEsation!
Posted on June 20, 2008 In Using Your Senses
Here is one of my favorite pictures that my niece took in her photography class. Being that it’s the summer solstice tonight, I wanted to add this picture because the colorful chairs, which pop with the black and white background, make me want to grab a good book and some iced herbal tea and take a seat in one of them (hmmm-which color would I pick to sit in? As Lorraine Cohen said in her article:
“Whether you run a company, lead a team, head a household, sit on a committee, or work with people to achieve...

Does Suffering Have A Purpose?
Posted on June 8, 2008 In personal growth
“Suffering has a noble purpose-the evolution of consciousness and the burning up of the ego.”
~Eckhart Tolle
Everyone seems to be able to relate to the word ‘suffer’ in some form or another. Some people call it pain. You probably don’t have to try too hard to think of someone you know who, in your eyes, is suffering. I know quite a few people who seem to be going through some sort of suffering-be it pain, illness, family issues, health issues, job issues and the big...

Posted on June 2, 2008 In Everything Skin, personal growth
I have to be honest with you and tell you I am not into the whole ‘anti-aging’ thing. You may say, ‘what? you sell skin care and you’re not into ‘anti-aging’?’ Yep, that’s right, you read it correctly. That doesn’t mean I’m not into skin looking it’s best at every age!
So this brings me on to the topic of wrinkles-yes the dreaded wrinkles. I have to tell you, your gonna get some. Some people will have more than others. There’s...
